"Pure admiration from each other" was how Cristalle Henares described her two endorsers—the record-breaker Sarah Geronimo and the fast-rising singer Angeline Quinto—for the Get Belofied campaign.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last Wednesday, August 3, at the launch of SM's Beauty Within, she revealed, "I thought that ang daming rivalry between them kasi sa media, yun yung pinapalabas. Pero pag kasama mo silang dalawa, wala at all."
Since Cristalle had the chance to see the two ladies work together, she raved about their being down to earth.
"So, grabe, napaka-humble ng dalawang yun," the daughter of Dra. Vicki Belo said.
"Pati si Sarah, nagri-reach out talaga, sinusuportahan niya si Angeline.
"And I'm so happy that ganun yung relationship nila sa industriyang ganito, kasi rare na makakahanap ka ng tao na tumutulong din sa kapwa artista."
Thus, the issue trying to pit Sarah and Angeline against each other is now the farthest thing from her mind.
Cristalle explained, "Napaganda namin si Sarah. At ngayon, pinapakita din namin na puwede din si Angeline.
"Ito si Angeline, habang kailangan na niyang humarap sa camera, she has to play a certain role. Ibang level na siya.
"Parang kailangan sabayan din ng beauty niya 'yon. She has to be very confident about herself to really show who she really is to the public."
SHOWBIZ? Of late, the big boss of Belo Essentials has been very visible in showbiz events.
When asked if she has plans of joining showbiz, she chuckled, "No!"
But, "Sasayaw ako sa Talentadong Pinoy," she exclaimed.
Unknown to many, the young businesswoman loves to dance.
"I do belly dancing, jazz, hip hop, and pole dancing," she said, also underscoring the benefits of her favorite stay-fit method.
"Nakaka-sexy siya, in fairness. Good workout at masaya pa. And it's able to help you express yourself in a different...with your body in a different way. At saka, nagagamit mo rin yung mga moves na nale-learn mo sa clubs, o, di ba?" Cristalle quipped.
DREAM GUY. The 28-year-old businesswoman is an engaging person to talk to, but she held back at the mention of Moussa Abdayam.
Almost two months ago, reports claimed that Cristalle and her Lebanese boyfriend had broken up.
She chose not to dwell on the past, and talked about the future instead.
When asked about her dream guy, Cristalle described him as "someone who's very smart and very athletic."
One by one, she mentioned what turns her on, "He thinks about his health. He loves children kasi teacher ako dati. He loves kids. Very close to his family, kailangan, and has a relationship with God above anything else."
Does she have a peg?
"Alam mo para sa akin, one of the guys that I really respect na talagang napapa-'Hay!' ako pag napapanood ko siya is Mr. Pure Energy himself, Gary V.
"So, if I find someone that in love with God, that in love with his wife, that in love with his family, about his career, perfect!
"And he's so brilliant and smart, and I really look up to him," she gushed.
Lastly, can we ask about your mom and her wedding preparations?
Cristalle retorted: "No na!"
